Scientist Mind with Entrepreneurial Spirit and Great Love of Nature

I’ve always been captivated by the power of science to shape a better world. From earning my PhD in tissue engineering, where I built a human brain model using stem cells and biomaterials, to co-founding startups, my journey has been fueled by curiosity, innovation, and impact. Science, for me, has never been about discovery for its own sake, but about creating solutions that matter. Diving headfirst into new fields is my superpower. This adaptability has allowed me to master a diverse range of biotechnological expertise, as well as industrial – from co-founding Revo Foods, to developing cultivated meat as a Chief Product Officer at BioCraft.

But here’s the challenge I couldn’t ignore: too many groundbreaking innovations fail to secure funding simply because the science feels inaccessible to investors. On the other side, technical founders are often unaware of the specific criteria that investors are looking for. Due to this mismatch, investors are missing out on great investment opportunities and the positive impact their funding could have achieved. More dramatically, it slows down our joint effort as a society to ensure this planet stays habitable. That’s where I come in.
With a deep understanding of both science and investments, I bridge the gap to make sure that cutting-edge technology receives the funding it deserves.

Let’s work together to ensure that the best ideas get the support they need to thrive and create a more sustainable future.

How I Align my Work with my Personal Values and Mission

Living close to nature on the Swedish West Coast, I am able to combine my endeavor to regenerate this planet while enjoying the beauty it offers – on land as well as underwater.

As a passionate freediver, you will find me mostly exploring the ocean’s biodiversity, when I am not out on a woodland adventure with my dog Alva. Only if we dive deeply into nature we are able to notice how fragile and precious it is and how our actions affect its balance.

I find it devastating how humanity treats animals and has not only exploited nature – and especially the ocean- but also used it as a huge garbage dump. From the outside one doesn´t see the destruction in our oceans, lakes, and rivers, so it is easy to ignore.

My Greatest Source of Motivation: Reconnecting Humanity with Nature

Let me be your eyes underwater: The time to take action was yesterday!

If the system collapses, there is no possibility of repairing it.
Our oceans are vital for sustaining our climate on Earth. Its animals and plants are huge CO2 absorbers. If we would stop removing biomass (e.g. fish) from its depth, all CO2 would remain there. The more the ocean ecosystem thrives the more CO2 is captured. The ocean´s temperature regulation and buffering effect are essential for a mild climate, as are its warm and cold currents. Only if the ocean is healthy can we expect the climate to remain habitable.
Coral reefs are especially dear to my heart. As a member of the Coral Council, I strive to contribute to regenerating and protecting the most precious ecosystem of our oceans. Coral reefs support over 1 million aquatic species. Very small fish as well as large whales rely on coral reefs as a safe space for breeding, feeding, or hiding. We simply cannot afford to let coral reefs disappear.
