Biotech isn´t optional, it´s foundational!

Are you an investor who avoids biotech??
This is what your life most likely looks like! 😉
(Spoiler: It’s bleak. And a bit smelly.)

07:00 – Wake-up.
No coffee: the beans got wiped out by a fungus last year.
No oat milk: There were enzymes used to make it.
You settle for tap water and existential dread.

07:10 – Bathroom routine.
No toothpaste (again enzymes).
No shampoo or conditioner (no biotech proteins or sustainable surfactants).
Your deodorant? Well… let’s just say your coworkers will notice.
But hey, at least your skincare routine is simple: nonexistent.

08:00 – Breakfast.
No yogurt (fermentation).
No almond spread, or any plant-based alternatives.
Even bread’s off the table (yeast is biotech too).
And what´s this? Oh no – another day of walking into the office with a stain on your shirt since you said goodbye to laundry detergents.
You nibble on a raw carrot and try not to cry.

10:00 – Investment strategy session.
You skim the market for deals.
NO climate solutions, NO next-gen medicines, NO sustainable food, or even biodegradable materials.
You find yourself nodding along to a pitch about fax machines. Again.

12:30 – Lunch.
Your favorite place offers “grilled optimism” with a side of “what-could-have-been, since another epizootic disease has crushed the market for animal products.

14:00 – Climate tech webinar.
You leave after five minutes.
Turns out, all the real innovation was biotech.
Whoops.

15:00 – Healthcare check-in.
No mRNA tech. No cancer immunotherapy.
Forget insulin, vaccines, or personalized medicine.
It’s leeches and hope now.

17:00 – Existential crisis.
𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀𝗻´𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝗶𝘁´𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹!
You sit on a couch (made of a dead animal), sipping warm water, and wonder: “Maybe I should talk to someone who can open the gate to biotech for me…”
